Five and Dime Fangirl YouTube Channel
Missed Gallifrey this year? Now you can watch our premiere Who Crack Video Track on our new YouTube Channel! It is up at last, complete with the hand-done 11 Doctor countdown opening and end credits sequence that were such a joy to do for this massive project.
Click on the above link to visit our channel and watch the full playlist (sorry, playlists don’t embed for some reason). Don’t forget to subscribe to our updates as this is just the beginning of our projects.
Gallifrey in 4 days! Five and Dime doesn't forget Torchwood
Torchwood would like to remind you that the Five & Dime Fangirls have not forgotten to pay tribute to their legacy and contribute to the Doctor Who universe. It took a lot of looking to find something PG rated amongst the offerings on YouTube, but we think we have something you can at least take your teenagers to see…unless you are squeamish about Jack getting a bullet to the head, him and Ianto kissing or aliens being disintegrated. If you are, you probably aren’t a Torchwood fan in the first place.
Gallifrey in 5 days! Five and Dime insanity update
So “Dime” is over last night. (Dime is my Tennant-fan partner in this video project). She reminds me I need to Tweet these bloody updates. Crap. Completely forgot about Twitter and that’s where all the chatter about Gallifrey is right now. DUH! So this morning, even before I shower, I jump into photoshop and crank out some kick-ass background wallpaper to slap up. Everything matches now…I’m seeing our “boys” on my desktop and on practically every site I own – which is never a bad thing.
Now it’s down to the little things…fighting to stay healthy right up to and through the convention. Pinning my hopes on probiotics and Thieves Oil and so far, so good. Costumes…costumes? If I am working in the green room around people I respect and admire, do I want to risk looking like a geek? Depends on the costume, of course. Something slightly lower key…nicely done, not too scary. Oh man, do I even have time for this??? Probably not, but then who does when you work full-time? I’ll draw from a quote from the Big Finish CD “The Eternal Summer” and remember, “you gotta make an effort, don’t you?”.
